A History of the Baptists (vol. 1 & 2)

[edit]

Does anyone know when these books were first in print. The edition I have is published by Bogard Press 1922. Could he have had an earlier date for these books? His book Baptist History Vindicated was published in 1899. He died in 1925, so it could very well be that the two volumes came after the Baptist History Vindicated book. Just wondering. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bhardecker (talkcontribs) 06:18, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Landmarkism

[edit]

Other pages on Wikipedia are linking to this article and saying that he was known for Landmarkist history, if I understand correctly. The article should address this. — coelacan talk19:16, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Middle name

[edit]

I have changed the middle name from "Taylor" to "Tyler". This seems to have more support from credible sources, including Donald Cureton's PhD dissertation on Christian, W. H. Whitsitt, and A. H. Newman. - Rlvaughn 21:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
